一时人杰西楚霸王项羽英姿飒爽的十句简短表白铭刻在历史长河中
对项羽的记忆，从心中仔细搜索，或许是从初读鲁迅先生的《三昧书屋》开始的吧。
“学剑不成”一句深刻脑海，竟导致了项羽这个形象在我心中的定格与历代学人的描绘不尽相同。
在我少时的心里，项羽是一个聪明却又浮躁的英雄。“学书不成，去学剑，又不成”，这是多年以后读到的史迁的记述了，然而和我少时所想，相差无几。或许说起来过于玄妙，我在读鲁迅先生的课文时，并不知这一句是记项羽的，（纵然到现在，我也不能肯定），但我却莫名地认定，这一句是描绘项羽的。我不知是何原因，或许，是因为我自己也有聪明而浮躁的一面吧？惺惺相惜？过于抬高自己了。虽然不可否认，我对项羽有着极大的同情心。
項羽最後學的是兵法，可惜他雖然認為這是「萬人敵」的本事，却也是略知其意，便不肯下功夫了。
I often wonder, did Item Huo really understand the essence of warfare? He started his rebellion at the age of 24 and fought until his death in the Battle of Gaixia. Despite being a skilled warrior, he only had a superficial understanding of military strategy. His swordsmanship was unmatched, but he was defeated by Liu Bang in the end.
Item Huo's life is a paradox. He was born with exceptional talent and received divine favor from heaven. However, he sought more blessings from above instead of making an effort to achieve them himself. When he said "Heaven has destroyed me" before his death, it must have been a sarcastic remark.
Item Huo and Liu Bang were once comrades-in-arms during their campaigns against Qin together. Item Huo's military achievements far surpassed those of Liu Bang at that time. However, Item Huo's nature was one of arrogance and violence from the very beginning.
The brutality attributed to Item Huo is undeniable. Many innocent civilians lost their lives under his rule. If we were to put him on trial for war crimes today, it would be enough to condemn him ten thousand times over.
However, I must point out that Item Huo's inherent nature was not brutal by default. Chen Ping praised him as respectful and loving towards people while Han Xin described him as treating soldiers like family members – so affectionate that they called him "the maternal love" among women! This shows that contemporary scholars did not view Item Huo as brutal either.
But there is no doubt about his brutality too! Otherwise why would he linger in Qi after defeating Peng Yue? It led to Liu Bang taking advantage and incorporating three regions into his empire effortlessly!
From this contradictory aspect can we find anything?
Upon re-reading Shiji (Records of Historian) by Sima Qian (Grand Historian), it becomes clear that all cities conquered by Item Huo were actually hard-won victories for him before being slaughtered mercilessly within them! Thus I reason that in Item Huo's heart only people from Chu or Lu might truly be considered 'people', while those from other nations are merely seen as subjects rather than kinfolk due to this mindset rooted deeply within; however when attacking enemy cities despite heavy casualties suffered by both sides on both sides; these slaughters may well stem purely out
