安徽黄梅戏美女旦行巨星严凤英
她出身于一个贫困的家庭，童年时期便因其对山歌和黄梅调的热爱而触犯了家族的规矩，这促使她离家出走。凭借着天生的聪明才智和不懈的努力，她在13岁时开始师从严云高学习唱黄梅戏。在枞阳、桐城等地，她以她的才华与热情赢得了观众的一致好评。随后，她又有幸得到丁永泉老艺人的指导，在贵池、青阳农村以及安庆、皖南等地区演出了许多精彩纷呈的表演。
1947年，她曾经跟随胡金涛、刘凤云学习京剧，并深受其影响。1949年之后，又拜入白云生这位北昆名家的门下，不断吸收各式各样的艺术经验，以此来丰富自己的表演技巧。在1953年的某个春日里，she finally joined the renowned Anhui Provincial Huangmei Opera Troupe.
her voice was like a sweet and melodious stream, her singing style was down-to-earth and natural, with a clear and crisp tone that resonated deeply with her audience. She was particularly skilled at conveying the emotions of her characters, striving to achieve an artistry that was both authentic and captivating. Over the years, she has portrayed numerous memorable characters in classic plays such as "打猪草" (Tao Jinhua), "天仙配" (Qian Xian Nü), "女驸马" (Feng Sùzhēn), "牛郎织女" (Niu Lang Zhī Nǚ) and modern drama "丰收之后" (Fèng Shōu Zìhòu). The latter three have even been adapted into films. In 23 years of artistic practice, she has made significant contributions to the development of Huangmei Opera.
